Vietnam is ready to send aquaculture experts to Sri Lanka

Vietnam is prepared to send experts in aquaculture to Sri Lanka to teach techniques in growing seaweed, lobster and sea cucumber, or would be willing to teach a delegation from Sri Lanka. Minister Vu Van Tam has said that a delegation could be put together in a month to assist Sri Lanka.

Minister Tam said if Sri Lanka has a master plan and strategy for aquaculture development with a list of species Vietnam was ready to assist wherever possible. "Vietnam is ready to provide technical assistance all knowledge we have in order to develop the aquaculture sector in Sri Lanka and provide seafood to your people," he said. Read more ...
